Santa Sightings 5K Fun Run

The SANTA SIGHTINGS 5k FUN RUN will be held in NEW BEDFORD, MA. on December 10th 2011 at 11 am. Here thousands will gather to participate in, and view, another chapter in the world wide phenomenon

know as the "Santa Race".It will be great fun and will benefit a great cause as well. Join us in celebrating the spirit of Christmas and burning off some of those holiday calories. This FUN RUN takes you though the beautiful back drop of New Bedford, starting at City Hall and making a turn around at Pope's Island Marina. The race is open to all ages and all levels of runners, make this a new Christmas tradition!

There are also opportunities for Individuals and Businesses to sponsor runners as well..

Online registration will end at midnight on Wednesday the 7th of December. Suit and number pick-up will be at the New Bedford YMCA on Friday the 9th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, and Saturday the 10th 7:00 to 11:00 AM.
